  1. How to Register Your Copy

  4. To register your copy of Password Key‚Ñ¢ obtain a Key Code from KeySoft‚Ñ¢ (see previous chapter), then run Password Key‚Ñ¢ and wait for the Password Screen. Instead of entering your password, type the word "register" into the blank, then press the "OK" button, or press Return.

  22. In the blanks provided, enter your name EXACTLY as you provided it to KeySoft‚Ñ¢ for registration, and your Key Code as provided by KeySoft‚Ñ¢.  If you do not enter them both exactly as given, the following screen (or one very similar) will appear:

  38. No damage has been done if you see this screen, just press "OK" or the Return key and try again. If you do not have the correct registration Key Code, then simply close the box and you will be returned to the main password entry screen.

If you successfully complete the registration, the screen will go away and you will be returned to a new password entry screen that is now showing your name as the registrant and the notice about any five character password working will be deleted. From this point on, only the correct password will work, and the "demo" reminder at the end will not show when you quit the program.
